Music videos are awesome

I don't understand how or why music videos got started, but they're pretty awesome to watch. What confuses and amazes me is that a lot of times, the video makes the song way more amazing than it would be just listening to it; and the video can totally change the meaning of the lyrics. Tom Petty's "Don't Come around here no More" would be super boring, but then they made it into an amazing, wacko video of Alice in Wonderland.

"You're on Fire" may have been my favorite one. Or maybe the Tom Petty one. It's a hard pick.

Sodagreen story blew my mind. We are designing 3D scenes in Ballinger's class right now in which everything is supposed to look like a toy. Sodagreen did the toy thing so well. The characters were great, but the toy landscapes were awesome. The ocean was so simple, yet I don't think I would've thought of making a wavy, metal ocean like that, with a crack for the boat to travel in. And they didn't just make it everything toy; they made it toy and showed its inner workings, too. I loved the birds:
Loved getting to hear a little bit about how some of the videos were made with stop-motion, or all in one shot, or by moving super slow mo. Crazy.
