The Book of Life

The Book of Life was a wonderful film.  I loved the fact that they actually made a story out of the Mexican holiday and made it visually stunning.  The music definitely gave that romantic vibe and gave a little bit of the spanish flare in some of our modern songs that helped us get to know Manolo and his deep love for Maria.  I do wish that we got to know Joaquin a little bit more though.  I especially loved the Land of the Dead and the designs on each characters face as they were unique to each one.  The characters were wonderful and helped keep the story going.  I wish there was more animated films like this.  I definitely recommend that everyone watch this film.
