The Book of Life

"Woah." That was the first word that came out of my mouth when the movie started.

"Holy crap" was what I said throughout the whole movie because of the BEAUTIFUL animation. No offense to Disney, but Reel FX studio has a good advantage right now. It was beautiful all the way around.

I really liked The Book of Life. I liked everything about it honestly. The one thing I noticed and appreciated the most was the faster paced story line. I know that it can be frustrating in some ways because you want more of a backstory but thinking in the mind of a child, it was really great. Sometimes I hate how movies drag out certain parts and make it difficult to pay attention all the time. Since I am a child at heart (and have ADD) dragging out parts that don't need to be dragged out make me angry. I do have to agree that yes, some parts could have been better explained and could have had a little more to them, but it still kept my attention and interested the whole time.

I am a music lover and it plays a huge role in my life, so the fact that the music was really good made me SUUUPPPPERRR happy. I just jfdksjafdsafdjafjjfdksjafdjsfds if you know what I mean. It was well done.

The Day of the Dead is also such a cool holiday to me even though its not a part of my culture, so it was cool to see more about it.

I liked how the comedy didn't over power the story and the meaning. The love part kind of did, but you really can't get a movie without it anymore right?

Overall the animation was beautiful, the music was great, and the story was pretty good. I saw it again the next day and had to watch it in 3D and it kind of ruined it. 3D movies shouldn't be a thing anymore honestly.
