After Life

This was one of the most interesting movie titles I have ever read, so I could not pass up the opportunity to watch this film. I was really excited to learn about this Japanese movie. I was very disappointed to see that After Life took forever to get somewhere with the plot. I felt like the entire movie drug on and on and onnnnnn... maybe I am the only one who thought that, but I really wish it would have picked up the pace. There were so many slow parts from the filming of their memories to just talking to each individual. I almost felt a sense of wondering how I could truly pick ONE memory to keep forever as well. I think it would be a HUGE challenge to pick just one memory even if you thought you did not have any good ones...... How could one choose between family, loved ones, friends, significant others, and whatever else is in their life.....?? That would be highly difficult and I hope that I personally never have to experience this in the future. I really did love where this movie was going, but I feel like it took FOREVER to get to the main point.
