The first thing that stood out to me was Chihiro's personality. At the beginning she was rather hesitant and grumpy like any 10 year old should be. But throughout the movie, she starts to grow from that 10 year old personality and turns into someone much older. In certain moments in the movie you could still tell that she was still only 10. In a lot of ways she reminded me of Lilo from "Lilo and Stitch". I honestly thought it was the same voice actor at first. Both of them are young and full of something we wish we still had.
Even though that the film had its moments where it was hard to follow, and I was close to falling asleep, I still enjoyed the plot, character development, and the artwork of the animation. Japanese animation is really interesting to me because it looks so simple, but there are so many good details. And all the characters are super cute. Particularly these little guys!

Chihiro and Lilo are voiced by the same person. Makes it hard for me to watch it in English honestly. Lin is also Megara from Hercules which just adds to it.

It took me a little bit to get used to the Japanese animation, but I came to like it.
