Waitress

This movie had nothing to do with foo but I am so happy you showed it.

Immediately after I watched this I called my mother to tell her to go watch it. She has the same story of a baby saving her from the hell she was living in. So, I i related to the little baby in the movie. My favorite part of the movie was that the affair didn't work out because i would have felt guilty as a viewer if it had ended that way. Even If his wife was a bad lady I would have felt gross. But, thankfully his wife was a really nice lady so Keri's character didn't go for it. i think that the scene where she is smiling is awesome because it shows something that couldn't be captured in words.

Willy Wonka

This is the first movie in this class that i have seen already. Not only have I seen it but I own it and watch it on a regular basis. This movie has many aspects that make it a great movie. The character development is great for instance charlies background and the build up to Wonka and his reveal. The acting is great. Willy Wonka was casted perfectly to fulfill all the complexities of his character. There are great songs too, I very often catch my self singing "Charlie" and the song "Pure Imagination" is one of my favorite songs from movies.The costumes also were great for there time. You can see them demonstrated in the picture above. The sets inside the factory are top notch and could of been made much cheaper but weren't.

The best open credit sequence at making your mouth water.
 

Ballinger music Vids Food

The scarecrow was my favorite music video that he showed. The sound track was a little creepy but set the tone of exploited animals perfectly. The animation in this was beautiful. I understood why when I saw that it was the promotional for a video game.
Mr. wobbles nightmare was really creepy too. The animation was not as good but it still was pretty entertaining.
The two music videos by wierd al were great. I had seen them before. I still don't understand why he has cat eyes at the end. The fat music video is one of my favorite covers of all time. Even though  don't like Micheal Jackson I do thiink the cover is funny so i have listen to Bad a lot too.

The oreo comertial had the best music to me. I love Owl City so of course I found the entertaining. This is the video that made me the hungriest for food.

Tampopo

This scene was kind of gross in mind yet still felt sexy somehow.

The movie Tampopo was a surprisingly entertaining film. There were a couple of confusing cut away scenes but it still had a sense of story. I imagined it as the real story, which was the woman coking the noodles, and the scenes of the man in the suit which was a way of making you feel the theme of appetite. The noodles were enough for me to be hungry afterwards. But, the other scenes gave the different type appetite, romantic appetite. I am not the target audience for feeling sexual appetite so those scenes seemed unneeded and confusing. Now that I look back I can understand where it comes from.

Departures

This movie was very surprisingly funny. The first scene with the two men discovering the girl is a man was hilarious. The actors did a great job at reacting in that scene. When the main character first got the job working with the departed I thought it was the perfect job. Then I come to find they don't like him for doing it. But, if I could get that kind of money for just doing that ritual i would be a very happy man. The practice is quite beautiful and i'm glad he showed his wife that by the end.

I liked the father son story in the movie. I could relate to it. I don't remember what my biological father looks like either. So I could appreciate the emotions flowing in that scene.

Yojimbo

This film had Clint Eastwood written all over it. It was hard for me to imagine this movie was made first. All I could do was draw comparisons from the ronin to Clint Eastwood's characters. This movie was very slow but still enjoyable also I wasn't able to tell from the videography, except from the fact that is was black and white, that it was an older film. There was practice effects that never pulled me out of the movie. Also the film was surprisingly funny. My favorite part was when he said he still had to kill a bunch of people.

Big Night

I liked this movie. My biggest praises for this movie was for the actors. They all did a great job. Stanley Tucci was the best on screen.

I was used to seeing him like this so the young classy Tucci was a treat. 

The end scene that was set in realism was really impressive. He made eggs and We watched the whole time with no cuts ass they ate the eggs. I wonder how many takes of that they had to do.
The food is this movie also looked amazing; and it looked as if the actors made it all(besides the pig that was random.) BTW I called it immediately when the jazz band didn't arrive that he was lying.

As usual I came away from S.A.W. starving.

Spirited Away

I had never watched an anime before I watched this movie. I never watched an anime because I was scared of seeing this the whole time.

But, I was pleasantly surprised that the whole movie wasn't full of these slightly disturbing images. In fact it was the opposite I saw a lot of beautiful art. Art that wouldn't be given to me in the classic Disney film. The relationship between Haku and Chihiro made the whole movie for me. The older brother vibe he gave off to Chihiro I could connect with very well because I am the oldest of five children.
